Everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades

Wait, is it fails or fades? Ah, doesn't matter. Same point I guess.

I've been in kind of a funk the past week and just feel like the LORD has reached down into the pit and pulled me out. HIS light WILL shine when all else fails!

My weeks have been hectic, busy, filled to over-flowing. I get out of whack when they get like that, could also be hormonal but I know it's just being stretched too thin.

I tried to skip right over Friday, hit the snooze Friday morning and thought, oh, it's Saturday I can sleep in. WRONG! What was I thinking? And why would I have set my alarm on a Saturday? I have no idea, I wasn't thinking. I was ready for the weekend, ready to relax, ready for anything but work.

I forgot to pay our water bill and I NEVER FORGET TO PAY OUR BILLS so I had to hit the payment drive-thru on the way to work Friday morning too. I'm sitting there in my car, handing my payment to the lady and my eyes just well up. Sometimes you just need a good cry, it helped for sure.

Today was much better. Before leaving for work this morning I gave Jakob a kiss goodbye (school is out this week). I leaned down to kiss his forehead and I just wanted to stay there and breathe him in. I wanted to crawl under the covers with him and just stay there, cuddled with my boy. I'm sure he would have shooed me away but I still wanted to do it. I love that kid so much it hurts. It made me think about our heavenly father and how he delights in us. Oh how He loves...

So today I made a point to stop working at a certain time so I could get home to make dinner. To me, it makes such a difference in my day to do that and then I have time to spend with the family, time to exercise, time for me and time for my hubby. Ahhh, the warmer weather is so delightful too. Breathe in, breathe out.

Movie quote: "I promise that my personal tragedy will not interfere with my ability to do good hair."

Can you name the movie?
